dc.description.abstract The article determined the influence of different factors of thermochemical treatment of sheet glass with gaseous reagents on its mechanical properties. Sulfur and carbon dioxides, hydrogen chloride, dichlorodifluoromethane, difluorochloromethane and mixtures of these gases were used. The regimes of treatment of sheet glass are the following: temperature – between room temperature and 600 °C, the volume of the reagent for one treatment – between 1.5 and 30 l, duration – between 5 and 30 min. The central symmetrical flexural strength and impact strength of sheet glass after dealkalization by gaseous reagents were increased by 50-70 %, microhardness - by 10-20 % . en_US
