Avoiding quality risks through forecasting analysis

Abstract

It is well known that the traditional quality assurance system based on detection of defective products is not appropriate for the recent requirements. Thus for, under the increasing customer demands on quality, decreasing of the period of designing and launching products to the market, it became imperative to have a systematic planning of quality. New systematic quality planning methods should allow the analysis and elimination of potential defects in the early design stage so as not reaching the situation to identify defects only in production stage or later. Practice has shown that to correct a defect that was not found in the design phase increases costs by 10 times in each of the later stages of product development.

Este binecunoscut faptul că sistemul tradiţional de asigurare a calităţii, bazat pe detectarea produselor defecte nu mai este adecvat cerinţelor actuale. Astfel, în condiţiile creşterii exigenţelor clienţilor cu privire la calitate, scăderii perioadei de proiectare şi lansare pe piaţă a produselor este imperios necesar să existe o planificare sistematică a calităţii. Noile metode de planificare trebuie să permită analiza şi eliminarea defectelor potenţiale încă din stadiul de proiectare astfel încât să nu se ajungă la identificarea defectelor abia în faza de producţie sau mai târziu. Practica a demonstrat că pentru corectarea unui defect nedetectat în faza de proiectare costurile cresc de 10 ori în fiecare din etapele ulterioare de realizare a produsului.

Ainsi, dans les conditions des exigences croissantes des clients sur la qualité, de réduire la période de conception et de lancement des produits sur le marché est impératif d'avoir une planification systématique de la qualité. Nouvelles méthodes de planification devraient permettre d'analyser et d'éliminer les défauts potentiels de la phase de conception afin d'atteindre non seulement identifier les failles dans le stade de la production ou tard. La pratique a montré que, pour corriger une faille non-détectée dans les coûts de conception augmentation de 10 fois dans chacun des stades de développement de produits.
