Abstract

Interior design is defined as a combination of art and science, the purpose of which is to create favorable and pleasant environments from an aesthetic and ergonomic point of view. The profession of interior designer have over 100 years and was first defined in the early 1900s as industrialization began. Before the profession officially appear, interior design developed intuitively in accordance with the architecture. Going through huge of changes, interior design has become a necessity in the 21st century. Due to its evolution, interior design of the 21st century is the most ample, where designers have unlimited access to a variety of styles, furniture and finishing materials.
