dc.description.abstract | The present study brings many technical and technological elements regarding the modern processes and coating performance of the cutting tools’ edge. The processes studied are special coatings by means of vapour, sputtering and deposition procedures using Physical Vapour Deposition methods (PVD), Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) and Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD).
