Evaluarea formelor parentale ale hibrizilor competitivi de porumb

Abstract

În articol sunt prezentate rezultatele testării în câmp a 104 linii consangvinizate, forme parentale ale hibrizilor competitivi de porumb, cu pedigreul din sursele de germoplasmă Reid-Iodent, Lancaster, Euroflint, Dent Canadian şi BSSS-B37. Rezultatele au demonstrat productivitatea înaltă a liniilor cu pedigreul din sursa de germoplasmă Reid-Iodent şi conţinutul scăzut de umiditate în boabele proaspăt recoltate la liniile cu originea din BSSS-B37. În afară de aceasta, evaluarea liniilor la precocitate a permis evidenţierea în grupele de germoplasmă a liniilor noi cu o perioadă de până la înflorire mai scurtă. Prin aceasta, amelioratorii au reuşit diversificarea surselor de germoplasmă în ameliorarea hibrizilor timpurii şi de precocitate medie.

The paper presents the results of field experiments of 104 inbred lines ofmaize created within the Institute of Phytotechny “Porumbeni” and promoted as parental forms of competitive hybrids with the pedigree originating from the germplasm sources Reid - Iodent, Lancaster, Euroflint, Dent Canadian and BSSS-B37. The obtained results proved the high grain yield of inbred lines with pedigree originating from the germplasm ReidIodent and low moisture content in the newly harvested grains of inbred lines originating from the germplasm BSSS-B37. The evaluation of parental formsin terms of precocity revealed newlines which have a shorter period up to flowering. As a result, it was obtained a diversification of germplasm sourcesfor improving early hybrids and middle season hybrids.
