Factors for competitiveness of road fright transport enterprises

Abstract

The development of competition in the market of freight transport services and the potential for increasing the competitiveness of enterprises represent actual issues that are important for participants of transport processes and for transport services providers. The purpose of the current study is to identify and analyze the characteristics of factors influencing the freight transport enterprises’ competitiveness. Despite the extensive research on the enterprises’ competitiveness conducted by foreign and national scientists, the aspects of the competitiveness of road transport enterprises, as well as the factors influencing it, still remain insufficiently studied.

Развитие конкуренции на рынке автотранспортных услуг и потенциал повышения конкурентоспособности предприятий представляют собой актуальные вопросы, важные для участников транспортных процессов и предоставления услуг. Целью текущего исследования является выявление и анализ особенностей факторов влияющих на конкурентоспособность грузовых автотранспортных предприятий. Несмотря на обширные исследования конкурентоспособности предприятий, проведенные зарубежными и отечественными учеными, аспекты конкурентоспособности автотранспортных предприятий, как и факторы, влияющие на нее, до сих пор остаются недостаточно изученными.
