Cercetarea procesului de lucru al instalaţiei a demonstrat că puterea şocului N este determinată de câţiva factori independenţi. Utilizarea π – teoremei cu 13 variabile de bază a demonstrat că procesul de lucru al instalaţiei poate fi descris de zece (13-3 = 10) combinaţii (criterii de similitudine) π 1, π 2... π 10.
