dc.description.abstract	The article describes the stages of development of architecture of office buildings of the city of Chisinau from the end of 19th century (building of the pro-vincial administration) to the present day (business centers). The description of the stages and their stylistic trends reflects the evolution of architectural tech-niques, and also demonstrates a great variety of stylistic and compositional prin-ciples from eclecticism and neoclassicism to modernism, postmodernism, decon-structionism and hi-tech.	en_US
