Abstract:
Grain beetle affects all cereal crops, but does the most damage winter wheat, winter barley and winter rye. Impaired adults and larvae, however, cause the greatest harm last. Тreatments plants is carried out to combat the larvae, and at very high numbers, and against the beetles. The fight against the larvae of the autumn, with the appearance of lesions, when they are in the first age and are more sensitive to insecticides. Chemical treatment is carried out against the larvae, depending on climatic conditions, the phases of development and plant population and the number of larvae. When the seedlings, in phase 1 - 2 of leaves, plant density of 450-600 plants per 1m2, chemical processing carried out at a density of 2 larvae per 1m2, in dry weather, at 1.0 larvae per 1m2. In the sparse crops (250-300 plants per 1m2), chemical treatments are applied when the number of 0.5-0.7 larvae per 1m2. At the tillering phase chemical processing is carried out in the centers, the number of 3.2 larvae per 1m2. In order to on effectively combat it is recommended to two treatments: first treatment is carried out with the appearance of the pest, and the second by 14- 15 days.
