Abstract:
The ground beetle damages all cereals but the greatest damage harms to the winter wheat, winter barley and rye. The chemical processing of plants is effectuated for the struggle with the larvae of the wheat ground-beetle. When their number is very high the struggle occurs against the bugs. The struggle against the larvae occurs in winter when the hearts appear, when they are in the first age and more sensitive to insecticides. At the appearance of the shoots in the phase of 1-2 leaves, the density of standing of 450-600 plants on 1м 2 the chemical processing is made at number of 2 larvae on 1м 2 , but during the dry weather at 1.0 larvae per soared meter. On the spaced out sowing crops (250-300 plants per 1 m 2 ) the chemical processing is applied at number of 0,5-0,7 larvae per 1 m2 . In the phase of shrub formation the chemical processing is made in the hearts at a number of 2-2 larvae per 1 405 m 2 . For an effective struggle it is recommended to do tho processing the first is made at the appearance of the pest and the second in 14-15 days.
