Contribuția Universității Agrare de Stat la dezvoltarea pomiculturii în Republica Moldova

Abstract

The staff of the department of fruit growing contributed to the establishment of the fruit growing areas in Moldova, of the first homologated assortment of fruits, to the project implementation for replacing the non-systemic fruit plantations with the classic industrial ones. At present, investigations are carried out on optimizing the structure of plantations, maintenance and fertilization systems for apple, stone fruits and berry crops, programming of quantity, quality and competitiveness of production on local and foreign markets.
